Chess, Danish and English conversation clubs

Chess and conversation clubs: Danish, English, Russian

How my path in chess began

I started playing chess when I was nine. At first I didn't really like it, but my first coach, Namik, helped me understand the game and come to love it.

Just a year later I earned my first ticket to a chess tournament in Russia, and later I took part in other tournaments as well.

What chess teaches children

For me chess is much more than just a game. It develops logical and analytical thinking, the ability to think ahead, patience and calm, independence in making decisions and the ability to learn from your own mistakes.

The language club

Besides chess I run a language club where we use Russian, Danish and English. My aim is to create a friendly atmosphere where children can practise all three languages through games, conversations and interesting joint tasks.

«It gives me pleasure to share my experience with the children, just as my own coach once shared his with me.»
